Spanish (Castilian Spanish - castellano) is the main language in Malaga. Because of the large amount of tourists, English is widely understood and spoken. |

However, not everyone speaks it, and you'll find people are much more appreciative (and probably give you better service) if you try and muddle through with a bit of Spanish. |
